PEERY PLAIN DEALER REPORTER SEVEN HILLS Rose Marie Miklus, 71, who was on MetroHealth Medical Center's helicopter medical team for 11 years, died' Thursday at her home in Seven Hills. Mrs. Miklus was a graduate of MetroHealth's first flight program in 1982. When she retired in 1995, she was the oldest active flight nurse in the United States.

She was born in Cleveland. She became a licensed practical nurse in' 1971 and graduated from the Cuyahoga Community College nursing program in 1978. Marie C. Spencer, 99, teacher, social worker CLEVELAND Marie C. Spencer, who had a long career as a teacher and social worker, died Thursday at the Judson Retirement Community, barely nine months short of her 100th birthday.
