Power was restored to more than 3,000 PG&E customers in southern San Luis Obispo County after an outage that began with a damaged utility pole on Tuesday morning.
PG&E’s outage center reported that 3,044 customers lost power at 8:19 a.m. Crews located a damaged power pole and began repairs.
The outage was concentrated in the Oceano area, with most affected residents located east of Front Street, south of Farroll Avenue, west of The Pike, and north of Cienaga Street. Some customers along Elm Street to Halcyon Road on both sides of Cienaga Street were also impacted, according to the outage map.
Power was restored by 10:30 a.m.
