What to Drink While Watching Harry Potter

We originally made these to celebrate the movie from the world of Harry Potter: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Making up some of these yummy frozen butterbeer drinks was the perfect way to celebrate and get us ready for the show.

We also make frozen butterbeer whenever we do a Harry Potter binge. No Harry Potter marathon would be complete without some tasty treats from the movies/books. It makes the entire thing feel more festive.

What Does Frozen Butterbeer Taste Like?

If you have never had Butterbeer, it tastes like a yummy butterscotch soda with a sweet cream topping. Whenever I read about it in the Harry Potter series it sounded so good! Tasting it in real life was even better than I had imagined. I was already a big butterscotch fan so I knew I would be in love, but seriously, I could drink one of these every day.

We first tried Frozen Butterbeer on our visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Universal Studios theme park in Hollywood. You can read more about our visit and see the pictures we took around the park on our traditional Butterbeer post.

We had so much fun trying all kinds of food from the books, but the drinks were definitely the highlight. We could not decide which was our favorite, regular Butterbeer, Frozen Butterbeer, or Pumpkin Juice. So we decided we would just have to create recipes for all three, that way we can enjoy them anytime we want!
