Baileys Original Irish Cream

My love for this simple two ingredient co*cktail started a couple years ago when I needed a Baileys Mixer on an airplane on my way to Mexico. That is when the Original Baileys and Milk recipe was created.

You know what? I love it that much that I decided to make a chocolate version, because what’s not better with chocolate. That’s a trick question because the answer is nothing. Chocolate makes everything better.

The Original Baileys and Milk co*cktail

Do you know what happened next? Well, one thing led to another, and then this Cinnamon Toast Crunch co*cktail with Baileys was created. It’s also milk based, and it has three ingredients, including Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.

2 Ingredient Bailey’s Drink

Let’s face it. Sometimes we need a co*cktail, a fast co*cktail, a co*cktail with only 2 ingredients. It doesn’t need to be fancy, but it does need to taste amazing. That’s why I love this 2 ingredient Baileys drink.

Think of this drink as an amped up version of chocolate milk…Baileys Chocolate Milk. It truly could be served for breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner or dessert. I plan to add this to the Christmas co*cktails for our next holiday on the bar cart. And if you are feeling really fancy, add whipped cream to your grocery list to top of the glass.

You could totally make this a Baileys Hot Chocolate by warming it up first. Add your favorite garnishes.

What type of alcohol is Bailey’s Irish Cream?

Bailey’s Irish Cream is a liquor that contains Irish Whiskey. It also has flavors or vanilla and chocolate to complement the cream-based Irish Whiskey.

What can I mix with Baileys?

Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur is a dessert-like liquor. Consider drinking it with anything rich and decadent such as coffee, milk shakes, eggnog, hot chocolate/ hot cocoa or milk. Toss some vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate liqueur, mini marshmallows, peppermint vodka (or peppermint schnapps), etc. with the Baileys in a blender for a boozy milkshake, float or mudslide. Top with chocolate sprinkles.

Can I drink Baileys straight?

Absolutely. Pour yourself a little shot, and sip on it as an after dinner dessert. Try it chilled.

Does Baileys need to be refrigerated?

No, store Baileys Irish Cream on the counter at room temperature. Make sure the lid is on tight. If you prefer it chilled, it doesn’t hurt the liquor to store in the refrigerator.
